Osallistu Bunker Campiin Dunstanburghissa marraskuussa

FGA:n jäsenillä on nyt mahdollisuus osallistua ilmaiseksi Bunker Campiin Englannissa 5.-16.11.2018. Se on erittäin hyvä mahdollisuus oppia uusia taitoja ja tavata alan ihmisiä. Perustason englannin kielen taito on riittävä. Tapahtuma on ilmainen, majoitus ja suurin osa ruokailuista on maksettu.

The Dunstanburgh Bunker Camp is a work experience event that started in 2014. Each year we re-evaluate and adapt to ensure we provide our core values of a fun relaxed environment for younger attendees to learn whilst also providing new learning experiences for the more experienced. The Bunker Camp will run from Monday 5th to Friday 16th November. You can attend for as little or as long as you like. The hosting venue is Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course which is situated at the picturesque Embleton Bay, accommodation is provided free of charge overlooking the course and the bay with day time meals also provided. The main programme of works this year is the renovation and modernisation of the Par 5 14th hole. Over the duration of the Bunker Camp the learning points we will be covering are; Team Building Team organising/management Course Design & modernisation Tee box construction Revetted bunker construction Drainage installation Surface shaping for golf & drainage performance Ecology management Working with third parties such as The STRI & The National Trust Wetland and pond construction The Bunker Camp started as a local event that has quickly grown to an International Event.
